IF WISHES WERE HORSES
A man sits in a saddle astride a standing horse. They are at a crossroads. The man wears a pointed brown hat with a red feather plume. He has a contented smile on his face.
If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.
If turnips were watches, I would wear one by my side.
And if "ifs" and "ands"
Were pots and pans,
There'd be no work for tinkers!
