Karl Bodmer - Maximilian, Prince of Wied’s Travels in the Interior of North America

During the years 1832, 1833 and 1834, Karl Bodmer and Maximilian, Prince of Wied traveled together on an expedition through the central United States to the headwaters of the Missouri River. Bodmer's illustrations for the book, "Maximilian, Prince of Wied’s Travels in the Interior of North America, during the years 1832–1834" are all reproduced and available here for free download in four different sizes. The largest are all fairly high resolution jpeg's which have been cleaned up, straightened and edited from the original very high resolution tiff scans of the book. They should be appropriate for most purposes on the web and will hopefully be of use to many people. Titles on the originals are in German, French and English, and I have included all here to the best of my ability.
