L'Afrique, ou Lybie ulterieure

Very beautiful pastel colors show the territories north of the "Golfe de St. Tomas" (Gulf of Saint Thomas) northward with bits of the Mediterranean Sea showing. Roughly divided into the regions or territories: "Le Saara ou Desert" (The Shara or Desert), Le Pais des Negres (The Country of Negroes), La Guinee, including Benin. Biafara (Biafra) and Nubie (Nubia) to the east.
